Texas woman leans by example

"Monkey see, monkey do" usually means you're up to no good. But for Arianna Chavez, following someone's example was the key to a successful pound-pinching program.

Weight had been a problem for Arianna her entire life, eventually pushing her to 307 pounds at age 27. She struggled with her self-confidence, and didn't want to exercise in public. And she hated having to wear plus-size, frumpy, and unfashionable clothes at a young age.

Then she saw her overweight friend Leslie lose over 50 pounds with L A Weight Loss. That inspired her to sign up at her local San Antonio, Texas, L A Weight Loss center, in hopes of similar success.

Arianna's personal counselors worked with her diligently to help achieve her weight loss goals. They taught Arianna it's not only what you eat, but how much you eat, and kept her accountable for her meal choices.

Portion control became a central focus of Arianna's new eating habits. She switched from super-sized burgers to lean fish, vegetables, and fruit. Plus, she and her cousin cooked healthy, balanced meals together, and constantly encouraged and supported each other.

The results were stellar: Arianna shed over 154 pounds in a year!! Now she happily passes by the plus-size section, and wears contemporary fashions. She goes to the gym two to three times per week, too.

Even better, losing weight has improved Arianna's health, attitude, and relationships. Today, she loves the way she looks and feels, thanks to having the tools and inspiration to change her life. Way to go, Arianna!
