Let's making shopping fun again

It's hard to keep up with the latest fashions. But for some people, it's even harder to fit into them.

For Kathy Alexander, the search for the right size became the search for a new life. At 238 pounds, not only couldn't she wear trendy clothes, but she had trouble bending over to paint her toenails.

She felt terrible. A lover of fashion, Kathy knew which clothes looked good. The problem was, they didn't look good on her. That's when she knew she needed to lose weight and change her life.

Leaning on her family for support, Kathy tried dieting, but struggled to shed pounds. Then she tried L A Weight Loss.

Kathy's L A Weight Loss program helped her realize the accountability in eating, while still enjoying her favorite foods. Her secret was incorporating portion control into her daily eating regimen, and balancing her diet with fruits, vegetables, meat, and fish.

And the enthusiasm from Kathy's one-on-one counselor, and the entire L A Weight Loss staff, kept her on track.

After a year on the program, Kathy lost 75 pounds -- and dropped from a size 22 to an incredible size 6! Now, at 163 pounds, she says the program saved her life. And she's thankful she can now play with her grandchildren, and has enough energy to work in her yard.

The best part about being thinner: the freedom to wear smaller, trendier clothes, and know she looks good. Kathy celebrates her new-found self-confidence and energy by shopping until she drops!! Great job, Kathy.

Best weight loss secret learned: Learn how to control your portions and incorporate your favorite foods into your diet. It's as simple as that!
