Mother of seven drops five dress sizes

I just got a copy of Quick and Simple’s February 6th issue, and was *thrilled* to see Lexine Saunders' story featured on page 6.

Be sure to pick up a copy of this great magazine, and read all about how Lexine dropped 54 pounds on the L A Weight Loss program. Here's my brief version of her story.

At 43 years old, Lexine main priority was taking care of her seven children. But putting herself last meant putting her health last, too.

When she hit 204 pounds, her husband said her weight was keeping her from the thing she loved most: fun activities and games with her kids.

That very day, Lexine drove herself to the L A Weight Loss center in Rexburg, Idaho, looking for help. It was there she learned how to kick her "bad" food habits (such as eating old leftovers, which don't have sufficient vitamins and nutrients).

Five months later, Lexine had lost 54 pounds, and was down five dress sizes! At a slimming 150 pounds and size 8, Lexine’s no longer missing out on her kids.

She’s now hiking, biking, and swimming with them! And last summer, she helped her husband and kids build a family cabin.

Here she is at 204 pounds:

And, here she is today at a beautiful 150 pounds:

The dizzy spell that spawned a whirlwind of change for Alisha Dukes

Despite dealing with high blood pressure, diabetes, and multiple sclerosis at age 33, Alisha Dukes was indifferent to the dangers of weighing 264 pounds. Then one day she had a dizzy spell at work, which landed her in her doctor's office. His shocking diagnosis: lose weight now, or die of a stroke.

It turned out that was the motivation Alisha needed. She joined L A Weight Loss soon after. Now she's 120 pounds lighter (!) at 144 pounds, and is a source of inspiration to others around who are struggling with their weight. And she's encouraged many of them to lose weight on the L A Weight Loss program, too!

Alisha is now completely off her high blood pressure medication, and she doesn't get winded walking up the three flights of stairs to her apartment. How's that for a transformation?

You can read more about Alisha's life-changing wake-up call and subsequent weight loss in the October issue of Quick & Simple magazine.

Here's Alisha at her near-deadly 264 pounds:

And here she is now, at a much healthier 144 pounds! Looks like it's time to get some new pants! LOL!!!!! :)

Quick & Simple covers Jeanne Onken's long journey

L A Weight Loss client Jeanne Onken recently talked with the reporters at Quick & Simple magazine about the shame and embarrassment she endured as 252 pound woman. That was before she lost 90 pounds on the L A Weight Loss program.

Jeanne's inspirational and emotional story will appear in the December 5th issue of Quick & Simple. The story covers how fought her battle of the bulge head-on, and how her struggle to lose 90 pounds even changed the way she's raising her two teenage sons.

Here's Jeanne back in 2005, at 252 pounds:

And here she is today in her new 162 pound figure:

Quite a difference, wouldn't you say!!!???
