Karen Lara's weight-loss secret: real food

Like so many of the L A Weight Loss clients I talk to, the shocking truth hit Karen Lara in a store dressing room when she couldn't fit into any of the size 28 clothes she tried on.

That's when Karen turned to L A Weight Loss, which she heard about from her best friend who had successfully lost weight on the program. Two years later, Karen has lost 158 pounds -- five pounds over her goal and more than half her original body weight!

Now Karen gets to truly enjoy her job as a child-care provider. She can sit on the floor to do activities and run around with them all day, simple things she couldn't do carrying around the extra weight. I'm sure those kids are just as thankful for the new Karen as her family and friends are!

Here's Karen at 298 pounds:

And here she is now at a slim 143 pounds. Wow!!
